Dallmayr does not purchase this coffee anonymously on the global market. The company collaborates with the Menschen für Menschen foundation (founded by Austrian actor Karlheinz Böhm) and the Bavarian government. Together, they established a cooperative in Dano that currently supports over 1,250 coffee farmers. A dedicated washing station and drying mill were built, enabling farmers to process their own coffee and secure a better price. The project also creates employment opportunities for local youth.
The impact extends beyond coffee. The project supports the Kekero Jibat school—attended by approximately 1,000 children—and the planting of tens of millions of tree seedlings to combat erosion and deforestation. Additionally, it works to provide access to clean drinking water. By drinking this coffee, you are directly supporting a development project in the region where the beans originate.
